These photographs are of fossils that were found in a particular part of the farm after a field was ploughed. The objects were identified by Ludlow museum. Gallery

A broken whorl from a Ciastropod. Silurian period perhaps 420 million years old
A fragment of Brachiopod ( Pentamerus Knightii )
Large fossil is a Brachiopod (Salopina Lunata) Silurian Period from the Ludlow Series
Various internal moulds of ventral and dorsal valves of Brichiopods. The large number is due to tidal action creating banks resulting in a crowded and fragmented appearance.
Limestone containing crinoids - due to larger grain structure suggests that this was located near to an estuary. The current was weaker as it got out to the sea thus the larger grains of deposits
