The original name of the farm was 'Mehorrel' until the early 19 Century and it may be derived from 2 old english names for boundary and well. The name then appears to have been anglicized to Mahorall.
The farm is nestled in the beautiful South Shropshire Countryside on the Southern slopes of Clee Hill overlooking the Teme Valley.
We have 150 acres of a variety of landscapes including 14 acres of woodlands, orchards, small fields, wetland areas and streams.
The farm is part of Natural Englands Higher Level Stewardship (HLS) which helps us to enhance the biodiversity of our small farm.
The farm has been in our family since 1969 and was a mixed dairy farm until 1992.
We started to make cider in 1998 and became licensed to sell to the public in the year 2000.
